Skill level: This 3-hour class is perfect for beginners.
Class Description: Inspired by the frock coat fashions, this little silk design is worked in English silk thread on an English silk gentleman’s tie dress fabric. Both companies were producing silk since the 1740s and are no longer in production. The floral spray inspired by an embroidery sample from the Cooper Hewitt Museum is worked in long and short stitch, satin stitch, French knots, lazy daisy, and stem stitch.
Kit Contents: silk thread, silk fabric, needles, lace trim, and instructions
Supplies: All materials will be mailed to you prior to the start of class. You will need to supply a pair of scissors.
Class Minimum: 3 students

Registration for this class closes 2 weeks prior to the start date in order to allow for the shipment of kits. If you would like to inquire about the possibility of late registration, please contact info@sfsnad.org. Late registration will be accommodated when possible with an additional expedited shipping fee.
