Class Description: Start the spring with this two-session surface embroidery bluebird course! This class is a great way for learning and exploring interesting stitches to create texture and detail. Using traditional crewel wool, English silk, cotton, and metallic thread, you will learn and practice highly textured stitches on cotton twill, such as back stitch, chain stitch, couching, French knot, eyelet, fly stitch, long and short stitches, stem stitch, satin stitch, trellis stitch, and woven picot which will help to give the design more dimension.
Equipment Needed: All materials will be mailed to you prior to the beginning of class. You will need to supply your own scissors.
