Saturday, June 18th, 2022 (10am PST – 1pm PST)

Sunday, June 19th, 2022 (10am PST – 1pm PST)

Class length: 3 hours each session

Skill level: All

Class Description: In this two-session course, you will be stitching a flower using textured crewelwork. Crewelwork is a great technique for learning and exploring interesting stitches. Using traditional crewel wool, you will learn and practice highly textured stitches, such as bullion knot, buttonhole stitch, chain stitch, coral knot stitch, herringbone stitch, raised stem band, stem stitch, and satin stitch which will help to give the design more dimension.

Kit Contents: needles, linen fabric, threads

Supplies: All materials will be provided to you at the start of class.

Registration for this class closes 2 weeks prior to the start date in order to allow for the shipment of kits. If you would like to inquire about the possibility of late registration, please contact Late registration will be accommodated when possible with an additional expedited shipping fee.

Cancellation policy: SNAD will refund tuition less a $25 processing fee up to 3 days (72 hours) prior to class start time. No refunds for cancellations with less than 3 days notification before class start time.

San Francisco School of Needlework & Design (SFSNAD) follows the City and County of San Francisco Department of Public Health’s guidelines to reduce the risk of COVID-19. Consistent with CDC recommendations, SFSNAD requires a valid ID and proof of vaccination in order to enter this space and participate in onsite, in-person courses and classes. We require visitors, students, and guests to the site to wear a well-fitting, non-vented surgical/procedural mask such as an N95, KN95, or KF94 respirator.
