Four-Session Class*:

June 30th, July 7th, July 14th, July 21st from 10 am PST – 1 pm PST

*When you register for Session 1, you’ll be registered for all sessions

Skill Level: Intermediate

Class Description: Create your very own 17th century inspired silk lion embroidery work box. In this intermediate to advanced class, learn various raisedwork techniques including: velvet stitch, queens stitch, couching silk covered purl, up and down buttonhole needlelace, couching gimp threads, stitching long and short in silk threads, and reverse overtwist. Once stitched up, this lion will sit neatly in the top of the pine embroidery work box.

Supplies: Class kit will be sold separately. We’re partnering with Maydel as a source for all of your material needs. Once you are registered, you will receive further instructions on purchasing your kit for this class.

Please note that kit price range for this class is $292.88.

You will need to supply your own embroidery scissors.

Equipment Needed: All materials will be mailed to you prior to the beginning of class.

Class Minimum: 3 students

Registration for this class closes 2 weeks prior to the start date in order to allow for the shipment of kits. You must order your kit and supplies for this class separately through Maydel, materials will not be shipped from SNAD.

If you would like to inquire about the possibility of late registration, please contact info@sfsnad.org. Late registration will be accommodated when possible with an additional expedited shipping fee.

Cancellation policy: SNAD will refund tuition less a $25 processing fee up to 3 days (72 hours) prior to class start time. No refunds for cancellations with less than 3 days notification before class start time.
