Class Description: Stitch this darling Mole. In this class, you will learn the basics of stumpwork creating three-dimensional elements to enhance this contemporary design. Learn how to make three dimensional needlework figures that include techniques such as needlelace, appliqued stitched fabric slips, stitched and wired elements, along with surface embroidery accents in satin and chain stitch.
Supplies: Kit contains one 14×14 silk fabric square, doodle cloth, 6×6 square of linen, 1-inch piece of leather strapping, 3×3-inch appliqué fabric for book, 1.5 inch square of cardstock or felt, and 1-inch of ribbon. Please provide your own embroidery scissors, pencil and white glue.
Registration for this class closes 2 weeks prior to the start date in order to allow for the shipment of kits. Late registration will be accommodated when possible with an additional expedited shipping fee.
Cancellation policy: SNAD will refund tuition less a $25 processing fee up to 3 days (72 hours) prior to class start time. No refunds for cancellations with less than 3 days notification before class start time.
