Learn to stitch and construct
your very own Crewel Work Pillow inspired by embroidered Jacobean hangings.

This class will be taught
online in three sessions via Zoom*.
First session June 3rd from
10:00am to 1:00pm Pacific Time.
Second session June 10th from
10:00am to 1:00pm Pacific Time.
Third session June 17th from
10:00am to 1:00pm Pacific Time.
*When you register for the
first class, you will be registered for all three sessions.
Description:
Learn to stitch and construct your very own Crewel Work Pillow inspired by
embroidered Jacobean hangings. This project comprises traditional Crewelwork
threads, natural linen twill fabric, and a wide variety of stitches suitable for
intermediate level stitchers.
Stitches to be taught will
include: Buttonhole stitch, Fly Stitch, Long and Short, Burden Stitch, Buttonhole
Bar, Fishbone Stitch, French Knots, Heavy Chain Stitch, Stem Stitch, Padded Satin
Stitch, Raised Chain Band, Raised Stem Stitch, Seeding Stitch, and Trellis Patterns.
Kit Contents:
All supplies will be mailed to you prior to the class. You will need to supply your
own scissors.
Class
Minimum: 3 students
Registration for this
class closes 2 weeks prior to the start date in order to allow for the shipment
of kits for domestic shipping and 4 weeks prior for international
shipping.
If you would like to
inquire about the possibility of late registration, please contact
[email protected]. Late registration will be accommodated when possible with an
additional expedited shipping fee.
Cancellation policy:
SNAD will refund tuition less a $25 processing fee up to 3 days (72 hours) prior
to class start time. No refunds for cancellations with less than 3 days
notification before class start time.
