Embroidery artist, Chrissie Juno Mann discusses her work, the history of animals in textiles, and their historical symbolism in embroidery.

About this event

Award-winning embroidery artist Chrissie Juno Mann is based in the heart of the New Forest, in the UK, she is also the author of the book: “50 Essential Blackwork Patterns.”

As an artist trained by The Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court Palace, Chrissie developed her skills to become a professional that specializes in hand embroidery.

While Chrissie teaches a variety of techniques as a tutor for Royal School of Needlework both across the UK and abroad, Chrissie has also created her very own embroidery brand: Cloud Juno where she is busy developing exciting workshops and designs as well as pieces for exhibitions.

Chrissie finds inspiration for many of her works in nature and seeks to create the beauty of the world around us in thread.
